A Philippine Scops Owl was found on the road by a resident of Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
The owl was struggling to fly and move, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Laoag was alerted immediately.
After getting rescued, the owl was taken to the mini zoo at Fort Ilocandia for proper care.
The public is reminded continually to help protect and care for wildlife.
