Four fire incidents were reported in Dagupan City, Isabela, Aurora, and Camarines Sur.
In Dagupan City, six houses were razed with four destroyed.
The fire was caused by a candle left burning on an altar, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
All occupants managed to evacuate safely, and the families affected are, as of this writing, staying with relatives.
Meanwhile, a grass fire erupted in Barangay Carmencita, Delfin Albano, Isabela.
The fire spread to a portion of the LGU's National Greening Project area, damaging seedlings of Gmelina and Narra trees.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of the damage and the cause of the fire.
In Baler, Aurora, the office of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples caught fire.
Firefighters were quick to respond to the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, as of this writing.
In Naga City, Camarines Sur, a warehouse of plastic goods was engulfed in flames.
According to some witnesses, the fire started on the upper part of the establishment.
Upon investigation by the BFP Naga City Central Fire Station, an issue with the electrical line was suspected as one of the causes of the fire.
The establishment has been flagged previously during a fire safety inspection due to the overcrowded display of merchandise, leaving no space for a firefighting team to pass through in the event of a fire.
“Every time ngani na nagi-inspect kami digdi, pigsasarabihan mi sinda na kung ma stock kamo dae nindo pagkapanuon na maray, [dapat] at least maka agi ang duwang tao,” SFO1 Arwin Yap from BFP Naga City Central Fire Station, said.
