The number of dengue cases in Kidapawan City has reached 276 from January to April 15, 2024, according to the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU).
CESU’s surveillance monitoring report showed that most of the patients are boys who are 10 years old and below.
The barangay with the most number of cases is Poblacion with 67 cases.

Mayor Jose Paolo Evangelista called on residents public to protect themselves from dengue-carrying mosquitoes and practice the 5S habit, which include search and destroy mosquito breeding sites; uphold self-protection like using insect repellents; seek early consultation at the nearest health care facility; support fogging, spraying, and misting in hot spot areas; and sustain hydration.
