A dozen eggs of a reticulated python, referred to locally as “man-og,” was found in the ceiling of a house in Desamparados, Jaro, Iloilo City on March 16, 2024.
Residents were able to locate the python at around 1 p.m. behind a drawer inside the house owned by a certain Nita Jablo.
Residents placed the python inside a sack and handed it over, together with the eggs, to personnel of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
It was learned that the eggs were discovered while repair works were done to the ceiling of the house.
