At least three died and one was injured when two motorcycles collided in Barangay San Pedro, Irosin, Sorsogon.

According to the police, all three women riding one of the motorcycles were drunk. They were on their way to Barangay Patag. 

The collision happened when the other motorcycle, driven by a 21-year-old man, crossed their path.

Authorities responded quickly to the incident.

The victims were taken immediately to the hospital but three of them did not make it there alive. 

The police reminded motorists of the importance of responsible driving and urged against driving when under the influence of alcohol.

"Pagnaka-inom tayo, unang-una pag nakainom dapat di magmaneho. Pag nagmamaneho tayo siguraduhin natin na protected tayo, diba [dapat] nakasuot tayo ng helmet, nakasuot ng mga protective gear," PMAJ. Voltaire Jun Pedido, Chief of Police in Irosin, said.
