A 46-year-old man was shot dead right in front of his residence in Barangay Banyaga, Agoncillo, Batangas.

According to the police, the victim was sweeping in front of his house when the suspect, who was in a vehicle parked right across the street, opened fire.

Broderick Noprada, Officer-in-Charge of Agoncillo Police Station, said.

The suspect shot the victim at close range, approximately a meter away.

At least six empty shells of a .45 caliber firearm were found at the crime scene.

One of the motives being explored by the police is a personal dispute between the suspect and the victim.

As of this writing, investigation into the shooting continues and the suspect remains at large.

The police called on residents who may have knowledge about the incident to share the same with authorities so that justice can be served.
