Ten minors were rescued as police arrested two women in separate operations in Gingoog City and Dipolog City for alleged online sexual exploitation.

In Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental, personnel of the Women and Children Protection Center-Mindanao Field Unit-Directorate for Investigation and Detection Management (MFU-WCPC-DIDM) arrested a woman after she allegedly offered her own sister and other minor relatives for sexual activities online via live streaming, including selling of lewd images and videos in exchange for money.

Most of the suspect’s customers online are foreigners, police said.

Col. Mario Baquiran Jr., said.

Operatives seized several cellphones and other gadgets from the house of the suspect.

During the operation, four minors were rescued and were brought to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) for counseling.

In Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, a woman was arrested for alleged proliferation of lewd images and videos of minors online.

The tools used and other pieces of evidence were confiscated from the suspect.

Six minors were also rescued from the suspect’s house.

The two suspects are now detained and will face charges for violation of Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials Act.
