A newly born baby girl was found dead in front of a house in Barangay Tabug, Batac City, Ilocos Norte.
According to the police, the baby was left inside an eco-bag with its umbilical cord still intact.
Based on post-mortem examination, the baby showed signs of head injuries.
The baby was brought to the church for a blessing before burial.
As of this writing, authorities are reviewing CCTV cameras in the area in the hope of identifying the person who left the baby.
