More than P2 million worth of marijuana was confiscated in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pinsao Proper, Baguio City.
Twenty parcels of tubular marijuana, wrapped in packaging tape, were seized, with a total weight of 20 kilograms.
The operation resulted in the arrest of four suspects, including a minor, with one identified as a high-value target.
The illegal drugs were believed to have originated from the Mt. Province.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cordillera said the individuas arrested are part of a high-value target group. Charges will be filed against them.
"May lumapit sa atin na concerned citizen na informant natin na nagbebenta ito ng volume, itong grupong ito," Director Laurefel Gabales of PDEA-Cordillera said.
