A 46-year-old man landed in jail in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan after he was accused of allegedly forcing a 16-year-old girl to use drugs and allegedly raping her.
Police said the suspect reportedly knows the girl’s family and had offered to bring her home while she was walking at the plaza.
However, instead of bringing her to her house, he allegedly brought her to an undisclosed location. There, he allegedly brandished a gun and forced her to use illegal drugs. He then allegedly raped her.
"From there and then napagamit na ng drugs, nabangag na ‘yung dalagita [at] nakatulog na doon [at] isinagawa ‘yung panggagahasa," Police Lt. Elmer Tangalin, Deputy Chief of Urbiztondo Police Station, said.
It was a family member who found the girl walking on the street, disoriented.
"Mabuti nalang po at kamag-anak din namin ang nakakita sa ate ko hindi sya pinabayaan," the girl's sibling said.
The girl disclosed her ordeal to her family when she gained consciousness.
Behind bars, the suspect denied the allegations. No firearm was found in his possession.
"Hindi ‘yun totoo; hindi ko alam kung bakit niya nagawa ‘yun sa akin," he said.
