A swarm of flies troubles anew the residents of Barangay Biao Guianga in Davao City.

Residents said the recurring fly infestation has remained a problem every harvest time of poultry products from nearby farms in the village.

“Together with the City Health, giadtuan na namo ang mga poultry owners, nakig-istorya mi, naisyuhan na gani to silag ticket. Ang brgy. pud nagplano mi nga next week, ipatawag namo ang poultry owners para makaistorya napud mi,” Barangay Chairman Eduardo Rodolfo said.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao tried to reach the management of several poultry farms but to no avail.

However, spraying of chemicals against flies have already been conducted reportedly by the poultry farms.

The City Health Office had also conducted inspection to check whether or not the poultry farms are following the sanitation protocols.
