The Christmas spirit is in full swing in Bayambang, Pangasinan as visitors flock to the Japan-inspired Christmas Village, a dazzling attraction that has turned the town into a festive wonderland.
The village, bedecked in vibrant and twinkling decorations, has become a hotspot for families and friends to celebrate the holiday season.
A standout feature of the Christmas Village is the Sakura Tunnel, adorned with Japanese lanterns, creating a picturesque setting that captivates visitors. The village is designed to be a perfect spot for families to bond and enjoy the holiday season.
"Madami kaming family na napasaya kasi may bonding kami dito,” shares Kyle Santos, a visitor.
"Complete family talaga at saka ‘yung bonding talaga,” adds Margarette Viduala, another visitor.
Adding to the festive atmosphere are beloved Ghibli characters, delighting children and adults alike. The Christmas Village also features an Igloo, providing a playful experience for the little ones with artificial snow.
The Christmas Tree inside the village is adorned with colorful Christmas balls, and a Holy Family Nativity Scene adds a touch of tradition to the festive display.
Rafael Saygo, Bayambang Municipal Tourism Officer, shares their goal of bringing joy to visitors, saying, "The Local Government of Bayambang, the main point of our mayor, is to give joy and happiness to the people."
The Christmas Village is surrounded by thousands of lights, creating a magical ambiance both inside and outside the village. Open to all, the village welcomes visitors without any entrance fee, inviting everyone to enjoy the beauty of the place and leave with a smile on their faces.
