The much-awaited Panagbenga Festival is back for its 29th year with the theme “Blossom Beyond Boundaries.”

“This year’s theme reminds us that growth has no limit. It embodies creativity, passion, and unity that define the community,” Federico Alquiros, President of the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI), said.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong emphasized the festival’s cultural significance.

“For almost three decades, the Panagbenga has been the platform and bridge for culture. It also showcases the best of what Baguio can offer, artistry that captures the heart of tourists,” Magalong said.

The festivities will kick off on February 1, 2025 with the Grand Opening Parade.

The highlights, the Grand Street Dance Parade and the Grand Float Parade, are scheduled for February 22 and 23, respectively.

The festival also features the Panagbenga Scapes, showcasing stunning Cordillera landscapes, and other crowd favorites like Session Road in Bloom and the Fluvial Parade.

Thousands of visitors are expected to join the festivities, which celebrate Baguio’s rich heritage and resilience.

“Panagbenga exists because of teamwork and the resiliency of the people of Baguio,” Atty. Mauricio Domogan, Chairman for Life of the BFFFI, said.
