Julie Anne San Jose penned a heartfelt message of gratitude as the Kapuso star reminisced on social media the two major recognitions she took home from the 37th Aliw Awards last December, calling the feat a “privilege and a blessing.”

In an Instagram post, the Asia's Limitless Star posted  first thanked the Aliw Awards committee, and gave a shout-out to the Kapuso network, Sparkle, her “family, colleagues, friends, and supporters… for believing in me through the years,” fronted by snaps of her while holding her trophies.

During the 2024 edition of the Aliw Awards held last December, she bagged the Entertainer of the Year plum, and the Best Collaboration in a Major Concert award which she shares with SB19’s Stell for their ‘Julie x Stell: Ang Ating Tinig’ musical last July.

She also sees it as an incentive to be better– “a tremendous source of motivation for me to keep on building my confidence as an artist and continue striving for excellence,” she wrote.

“To God be the glory!” she concluded her post.

Fellow artists in the industry flocked the comment section of her post thereafter, congratulating the singer-actress for the double win.

“Proud of you my lovee,” Kapuso actor-performer Rayver Cruz, Julie’s boyfriend, wrote in the comments.

Julie Anne had an eventful 2024, serving as a mentor in “The Voice Kids Philippines,” and hosting the “The Clash Season 6.”
