From a Candyland-themed wonderland in Nueva Ecija to eco-friendly decorations in Ilocos Norte, Northern Luzon’s Christmas villages are captivating visitors anew with their festive charm, creativity, and sustainable designs.

In Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija, a colorful candyland-themed Christmas village has become a popular destination this holiday season, offering a sweet escape for visitors of all ages.

The Farm Lake Dela Marre Agri-Tourism Park is located at Kilometer 5, Barangay Villarica.

It features a giant Christmas tree adorned with dessert-like decorations, colorful hot air balloons, and a stunning display of 5,000 roses, a favorite among guests.

"This year, our theme is Candyland. Naisip siya ng owner dahil sabi nila ang dessert ay panlaban sa stress," Rienz Crystal Ramas, the park manager, said.

"So sa mga stressed, ino-offer namin itong Candyland theme para ma-release [o] para mawala ang stress ng mga tao at babalik kayo sa pagkabata," Ramas added.

Visitors can enjoy a picnic while basking in the cool mountain breeze from the Sierra Madre.

The park is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a P100 entrance fee.

In Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, the town plaza glows with LED-lit displays, as seen in a drone video.

In Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, residents showcased an eco-friendly Christmas tree made from bamboo and recycled plastic bottles.

Even roadside decorations used recycled materials, highlighting creativity while saving costs.
