Lawyers in Northern Luzon swapped the court for the catwalk for Mr. and Miss IBP 2024.
To present their case on the pageant stage, contestants showcased their charm and wit, including their ability to parade in traditional attire, business wear, formal wear, and evening gowns.
At the end of the night, Atty. Jet-Jet James Tagaotao was crowned Mr. IBP Northern Luzon while Raamah Dadhwal from the Cagayan Chapter took home the title of Miss IBP Northern Luzon.
The fight, however, does not end on that stage.
"I will still focus on cultural preservation since my hometown is the cultural center of Kalinga. I will focus on preserving the rich cultural heritage that our forefathers have passed down through all generations," Tagaotao said.
"I will continue to champion my advocacy, support movements against cyber safety, especially against women and children," Dadhwal, meanwhile, said.
The lawyers proved that aside from the one they wear in court, they can wear many others, including one that allows them the opportunity to be role models and advocates for change.
