Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) saw all of its 18 aspirants succeed in the November 2024 Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure Exam (SLPLE) for a seamless 100% passing rate, a distinction it shares with two Manila-based universities.

The results were confirmed and released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, November 27.

As per PRC's announcement, CDU is one of only four institutions that fielded student takers in the exam's November edition, the three others being University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines-Manila, and De La Salle Medical & Healthy Sciences Institute (formerly DLSU-Dasmariñas Health Science Campus).

Also with perfect passing rates are the University of Santo Tomas (55/55) and the University of the Philippines-Manila (36/36).

CDU's Bea Therese Gallardo, a BS Speech-Language Pathology graduate, also scored an impressive feat for her alma mater, ranking sixth overall nationwide (tied with four other takers) with a test rating of 87.50%.

According to PRC, the November 2024 SLPLE, held last November 23 and 24, had a total of 161 takers, with only eight failing to overcome the exams good for a 95.03% national passing rate.
