Rom-com-drama phenomenon "Hello, Love, Again" has surpassed the P1 billion-mark in gross sales worldwide, becoming the first Filipino film to do so while achieving in less less than two weeks since premiere. 

According to a November 24 report by GMA News Online, the Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo-starrer had already earned P1.06 billion at the box office as of November 23, something the two multi-awarded superstars also confirmed and gave thanks for through a short video via GMA News. 

The GMA Pictures and Star Cinema collaboration project, the sequel to the 2019 box office hit "Hello, Love, Goodbye," has quickly risen to prominence since its Philippine cinema debut on November 13, achieving one milestone after another laced with positive reviews left, right, and center. 

On November 22, just ten days after its premiere, it had earned P930 million in worldwide box office to set the new record as the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.

Another feat under the belt of HLA was breaking the record for having the highest-grossing sales for a local film on opening day (November 13) when it racked up P85 million.

It jumped to P155 million by its second full day of showing, then grossed P520 million in local cinemas just five days later. 

The movie tells the tale of two OFWs in Ethan (Alden Richards) and Joy (Kathryn Bernardo), five years after the events in its prequel "Hello, Love, Goodbye." 

It is directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and stars the likes of Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Jennica Garcia, Kevin Kreider, Ruby Rodriguez, and more. 

"Hello, Love, Again" made its Philippine cinema debut on November 13, and is now showing in 1,100 cinemas in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
