The Miss Universe organization has unveiled the crown for its 73rd edition.

The crown, named "The Light of Infinity," is made by Filipino homegrown jewelry brand Jewelmer. It is adorned with Golden South Sea pearls.

“We proudly announce our new crown, The light of infinity... This is a new era, this is Miss Universe,” read a post of the organization in its Facebook page.

Jewelmer, meanwhile, said about the crown:

"Caressed by the sun’s rays, the sea generously offers us a magical gift — the rare golden South Sea pearl, the National Gem of the Philippines.

A miracle created in 377 steps over five years, this treasure is brought to life by the most pristine environment and utmost human care.

This precious gem embodies the brilliance of our co-existence with Mother Nature. As long as there is a pearl, there is life shining through every moment.

Jewelmer shares this poetic beauty with the world through the Lumière de l’Infini Crown. The pinnacle of savoir-faire, this one-of-a-kind creation was handcrafted by Filipino master craftsmen, utilizing the traditional techniques practiced in Place Vendôme, the center of elegance in France."
