At just four years old, Matheus Lucas from Abra has captured hearts across social media with his ability to identify, and read and write, the capital of countries around the world.

A video of him has drawn over 768,000 views and a wave of admiration on social media.

Known for his cheerful personality, Lucas has surprised many with his reading, writing, and impressive memory of world capitals.

Lucas’ mom, Camille Anical, noticed his skill early when he began identifying country flags and characters at just two years old.

While Camille works in Manila, Lucas stays with his grandmother, Leilanie, who is his constant support at home.

The pair spend their time studying together, strengthening Lucas’s skills in spelling, naming capitals, and even identifying provinces in the Philippines.

"Proud na proud sa iyo si Mommy," Camille told her son.

"Sana paglaki mo, bitbit mo pa rin iyong mga aral na tinu'ro namin sa iyo. Sana lumaki kang may takot sa Diyos," she added.

Leilanie, who dotes on her only grandchild, hopes to guide him for years to come.

"Sana, mag-aral siyang mabuti at sana habaan pa ni Lord ang buhay ko para magabayan ko siya sa paglaki niya," she said.

"Tanda'an mo, Lucas, andito lang ako sa tabi mo at naka-alalay sa iyo," she added.
