Laoag City residents were treated to a stunning view of the supermoon on Thursday, October 17, 2024, lighting up the sky like a giant spotlight.
Though briefly covered by clouds before 7 p.m., the moon brightened gradually, offering a spectacular display.
This was the third supermoon of 2024, and according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), it was the brightest of the year, so far.
The next supermoon is expected to appear in November.
