The recent rains and storms that hit the Philippines have given a nursing student an opportunity for income.
Jeffmarc Rellosa, 22, of Laoag has explored several business ventures, including selling second-hand clothes online.
The recent weather disturbances may have been devastating to many but these have sparked an idea for Rellosa to earn extra income.
With the money he saved from selling second hand clothes, he bought a helmet cleaning machine.
For just P25, customers can have their helmets disinfected, cleaned, and smelling fresh.
Balancing his studies and business, Rellosa believes that determination and responsibility are keys to success.
His advice for fellow working students is to never let hardships hinder their education. He believes that with perseverance and strategic thinking, anyone can succeed in life.
