Olivia Rodrigo, fresh off a hyper successful Philippine leg of her “GUTS World Tour,” is donating all of the concert’s proceeds to a charity that resonates with her women’s healthcare advocacy.
Through an Instagram post, the Filipino-American singer-songwriter formally announced that she is pledging “all the net ticket sales” to Jhpiego Philippines, a non-profit organization that brings “lifesaving care” initiatives to fruition, focusing on women and children’s healthcare as well as sexual health and empowerment.
“I'm SO stoked that all the net ticket sales from last night could be donated to Jhpiego through my fund 4 good,” the 21-year-old artist wrote on Instagram.
According to the official website of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Olivia’s Fund 4 Good is a “global initiative” that centers on her pro-women advocacies “committed to building an equitable and just future for women and girls through direct support of community…”
Olivia shared that she had a fulfilling visit to the organization and was immediately drawn to the kind of advocacy work that they do.
“I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines.”
