Students and parents took time to honor teachers through an activity that emphasized gratitude for the works and sacrifices of educators in molding learners. The event is in line with the celebration of World Teachers Day on October 5, 2024.

Mark Lenard Arcenio, a Grade 6 pupil of Taal Elementary School in Molo, Iloilo City prepared balloons and a gift item for his favorite teacher.

As for Mandolino Arendain, he brought fresh fish as a gift to the teacher of his child.

The Parents-Teachers Association of Taal Elementary School initiated pampering of teachers via free manicure, pedicure, and massage services.

“Very happy, relaxing. Hindi ko ma-express ang nararamdaman ko. Ngayon na-feel talaga namin kung ano ang essence ng Teachers Day,” Teacher Christine Joy Concha said.

Teacher Noeme Berol, a colleague of Teacher Christine Joy, expressed how thankful she is at the treat.

“Na-feel namin na mahalaga rin kami, na kailangan naming mag-recharge through sa ganitong activity na inihandog nila. Masasabi namin, we are very grateful na love nila kami,” Teacher Noeme said.
