WHAT IS VOLTES V LEGACY: THE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE?

Voltes V Legacy: The Cinematic Experience (2023) is the film version of the GMA Network-produced action sci-fi series Voltes V Legacy in partnership with original maker Toei Company, Ltd and Telesuccess Productions Inc.

As per a report by Hermes Tunac of GMA News Online, the two-hour motion picture is a cut from the first three weeks of the 2023 Kapuso series, shortened and curated for the big screen.

Both the series and the film received praises for the ground-breaking animation, dynamic production design, and impeccable visual effects— all of which were Filipino-made.

The live-action remake was headlined by Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob Miguel Tanfelix (Steve Armstrong), Ysabel Ortega (Jamie Robinson), Radson Flores (Mark Gordon), Raphael Landicho (Little Jon Armstrong), and Matt Lozano (Big Bert Armstrong).

Martin del Rosario (Prince Zardoz), Liezel Lopez (Zandra), Epy Quizon (Zuhl), and Carlo Gonzalez (Draco) also starred in the show.

The film is a Philippine live-action adaptation of the iconic animated series Voltes V, well-loved for its depiction of the familiar ‘good overcomes evil’ trope fronted by a powerful fusion of heroes to transform into one strong Voltes V battle machine!
