Pulang Araw stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco have been appointed as ambassadors for Save the Children Philippines.

In an official announcement, Sparkle GMA Artist Center said the appointment came in line with the International Day of Peace.

The talent arm's social media post reads:

"In honor of the International Day of Peace, Barbie Forteza and David Licauco have been appointed as the latest ambassadors for Save the Children Philippines They will lead efforts to elevate children’s voices and encourage others to safeguard and uphold the rights of every child. With their remarkable chemistry and heartfelt compassion, Barbie and David truly represent the youthful spirit and optimism that @savethechildrenph aims to inspire in Filipino children "

Present from GMA Network during the signing were Senior Vice President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; Sparkle’s First Vice President, Joy Marcelo; and Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications, Angel Javier-Cruz.

Attending from Save the Children Philippines were CEO, Atty. Alberto Muyot; Director for Advocacy, Campaigns, Communications, and Media George Oliver De La Rama; and Chairperson, Alicia Dela Rosa-Bala.
