The powerhouse trio of Lani Misalucha, Ai Ai de las Alas, and Christian Bautista give the trifecta of qualities they respectively look for as they reprise their roles as the adjudicators of “The Clash Season 6.”

Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha thinks that great performers must have the self-awareness to know where they’re really good at. “Ang talents kasi ngayon, nagpu-pursue ng singing or dancing or acting, minsan nalilito na ang bata kasi marami silang gusto ma-achieve– just focus on what you want to do,” she says.
“Focus on what you’re good at,” she notes, adding that one’s competitive advantage will always be a unique edge. “Kung ano yung pinakamagaling ka, doon ka mag-capitalize, doon ka magpagaling. Makikita mo kung gaano kalayo mararating mo, and you’ll prosper.”
Christian Bautista’s Top Qualities of a Succesful Performer

Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista is no stranger to the torrent of emotions that comes with trying to find success as an entertainer. Asked what traits a performer should have in order to overcome adversities in such a cutthroat industry, Christian suggests that versatility and being multitalented is key.
He also believes in the irreplaceable value of hardwork and perseverance. “One who loves to practice… Just don’t give up.”
The 41-year-old balladeer puts a premium to establishing the right connections as one continues to climb up the ladder.
“Connect with the right people and always improve your talent,” he says.
“You have to know the unshakeable principles that will help you define who you are and what you stand for– it could be faith, family, discipline– whatever will make you strong despite what life throws at you.”
Ai Ai de las Alas’ Top Qualities of a Succesful Performer

Like fellow judges Christian and Lani, Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai de las Alas loves to see the versatility of the new breed. A successful performer, she says, is one who is able to stand out with qualities that make them distinct.
“Yung magaling kumanta at malawak ang range. Versatility and professionalism din,” she says.
“Sa ating next generation of talents, sana ingatan ninyo ang pagkakataong binigay sa inyo ng Diyos, and ingatan nyo ang health nyo. Always be professional. Wag lalaki ang ulo, always be humble,” Ai Ai reminds.
