Residents, government groups, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have come together to repair a section of Halsema Highway in Sitio Pilando, Buguias, Benguet that was damaged by a landslide.

They worked collectively to rebuild a 50-meter riprap along Halsema Highway.

This collaboration is crucial for resuming travel and commercial activities in the area affected.

The road section collapsed recently due to heavy rainfall, which affected the vegetable trade in Benguet severely.

The swift action by the community and supporting groups helped mitigate further disruptions.
