A graduate from the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) in Cebu City ranked third in the 2024 Psychometricians Licensure Examination.

Alliah Grace Parojinog placed third with a percentage rating of 86.80.

She said her confidence and determination, her supportive family, the teaching staff and the entire institution of USJ-R, her prayers to the Almighty are all keys that have helped unravel the feat.

“I prayed for this, but I really did not expect that I would get this,” Alliah said in a press conference.

It is not a surprise though that Alliah made it strong in the exam as she is an achiever in the academics ever since, having graduated Magna Cum Laude in Psychology.

After finishing college, she embarked immediately on starting a career and dabbled with review schedule for the board exam. Her efforts paid off indeed; her firmness of purpose catapulted her to Number Three.

Alliah is set to receive an incentive worth P450,000 and a laptop as a gift from the school administration in the hope of inspiring other students to replicate such achievement.

USJ-R also posted a 100-percent passing rate in the exam.

Other graduates from Cebu who made it to the roster of topnotchers are Franx Danille Sato Banguiran of Cebu Normal University on sixth place; Abby Sophia Doña of the University of San Carlos on eighth spot; Venice Bayo of Cebu Doctors University on ninth place; and Cyril Socco of Southwestern University who ranked tenth.
