Juan Manzanillo, who recently turned 104 years old, celebrated his birthday with remarkable vitality, still able to walk unaided and help with daily chores.

Born on August 2, 1920, Manzanillo remains active and independent.

Every day, he helps clean his yard, sweeps, and pulls weeds — activities he describes as his daily exercise.

Despite experiencing some hearing loss, Manzanillo reports no significant health issues.

He enjoys a diet rich in vegetables and indulges in occasional alcohol.

“Pwede lahat [ng pagkain]... pinakbet na ampalaya, patola, kamatis. [Kumakain ako ng karne] minsan sa isang linggo,” Manzanillo said.

Chewing betel nuts is another of his habits.

Manzanillo’s birthday wish is simple: he hopes to continue living a long and healthy life.
