Say perfect performer duo without saying perfect performer duo: Julie and Stell.

Julie Anne San Jose and Stell delivered an all-out performance in front of a sold out New Frontier Theater crowd during their bordering three-hour musical spectacle Saturday night, the first of two legs of their collaboration concert called JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig!

Afternoon on Sunday, July 28, 2024, Synergy announced that all seats for Day 2 were also sold out.

THE PERFECT PLAYLIST

When you have the Asia’s Limitless Star and SB19’s award-winning vocal phenom sharing a stage as concert co-stars, a grand showcase is a no-brainer expectation.

That's exactly what the two The Voice Generations coaches demonstrated on Saturday night.

It was an effortless OPM medley at the New Frontier Theater — à la Julie and Stell — that translated easily into thunderous cheers and rounds of applause from an energized audience.

After a powerful “Narito Ako” opening number, they immediately picked up their pace and energy by grooving to SB19’s “Crimzone,” followed by a feel-good performance of Sam Concepcion and Tippy dos Santos’ hit song “Dati.”

Their OPM lineup was a banger list, comprised of bop songs “Beer” (Itchyworms), “Makita Kang Muli” (Sugarfree), and “Kung Ako Na Lang Sana” (Bituin Escalante), among a few others.

Julie’s multitalented beau and Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz graced the concert floor and joined the Limitless Star in singing an acoustic rendition of “You’ll Be Safe Here" (Riverymaya).

Fans were also treated to solo performances that featured both artists’ original songs. Julie Anne sang “Right Where You Belong” and “Tayong Dalawa,” while Stell performed “Anino” and his latest single “Room.”

NEWEST THE VOICE COACH, PABLO

In what would be a striking intermission number that turned into even more ooze and aahs, SB19’s Pablo was definitely the perfect guest performer at JulieXStell.

Before singing his bop single “edsa,” Stell and Julie introduced him as the newest coach of music variety show The Voice Kids, much to the delight of an animated New Frontier Theater crowd.

Day Two of "JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig" is scheduled later tonight at 8PM at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, where "Mr. Pure Energy" Gary Valenciano is expected to make a highlight performance as a guest artist.
