A heartwarming gesture by a local bakery in Legazpi City has garnered positive reactions from netizens. The story showcases a father's touching act of love for his child on graduation day.

Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage shows a man purchasing a cake at the bakery as a gift for his child's graduation.

Initially, the man intended to spend P100. However, the bakery’s owner, impressed by the father’s gesture, decided to give him a more expensive cake at no extra cost.

Aika Fernandez, the bakery’s owner, said the father was overjoyed upon receiving the upgraded cake. In gratitude, he offered to help with any task, even cleaning the bakery. 

“Pakakita niya nung cake sobrang happy po talaga siya. Nagsulat ulit siya na kung may gusto raw po kaming ipatrabaho rito o ipalinis siya nalang daw po yung gagawa… sinagot ko lang po, ‘Congrats po sainyo at sa anak mo.’” Fernandez said.

This act of kindness has resonated widely, earning praise and admiration from the online community.
