Carla Abellana and Bea Alonzo, two of the most sought after Kapuso actresses today, have nothing but appreciation and kind words for each other – describing each other “gracious” and “passionate” artists – as they are set to star in the upcoming GMA Prime mystery murder drama “Widows War."

During the June 21 grand media conference of the highly anticipated series, Carla and Bea were asked of their takeaways after months of working alongside each other, especially because "Widows' War" is their inaugural project as co-actresses.

“She is a very professional and a generous actress, she is very gracious at sinasabi ko ito sa harap nya. She is a gentle soul,” Alonzo remarked.

“I am glad I got to work with her,” the Box Office Queen added.

As for Carla, she couldn’t help but admit being starstrucked whenever she would do a scene with Alonzo.

“Pag meron kaming mga eksena, nasa-startruck pa rin ako sakaniya. Hindi ko akalain na aabot sa ganitong point na makakatrabaho ko po siya,” said Abellana, who were all smiles while describing her first ever serye with Alonzo.

“She is everyting I imagined her to be plus more. Napaka passionate po niya, she is very detailed with her craft, even yung mga pinakamaliliit na detalye alam po niya,” shared the Kapuso Primetime Goddess.

Overall, she sees Bea as a kind person who’s easy to get along with, and is talented but immensely patient. “Mabait po sya at madaling pakisamahan, walang reklamo, very patient, and of course napakahusay.”

GMA Network’s newest primetime series, directed by award-winning filmmaker Zig Dulay, centers on a wealthy family whose interwoven stories will be riddled with murders, lies, and shocking secrets. Also starring Benj Alves, Rafael Rosell, Jackie Lou Blanco, Tonton Gutierrez, and Jean Garcia, “Widows’ War” premieres on Monday, July 1, at 8:50PM on GMA.
