Five aspirants who finished their architecture degrees in Davao City, Bulacan, Cebu, and Pangasinan are some of the top scorers in the June 2024 architects licensure exam, while Cebu City’s University of San Carlos is named the third top-performing school.

As per the latest announcement made by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the results of the June 2024 architecture’s licensure examination (ALE) show that 2,094 out of 3,370 passed the examination or a 62.14 percent national passing rate. 

TOP-PERFORMING SCHOOLS

The University of San Carlos placed third in the list of top-performing schools, seeing 58 of its 68 takers pass the exam. 

Topping the list was Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Main Sta. Mesa. All but four of its 60 takers overcame the exam. 

The University of Sto. Tomas (UST) placed second with an 88.82% passing rate even with a huge taker count, seeing an impressive 143 of 161 performance. 

Rounding out the list of top-performing schools was the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) at fourth with 46 passers from its 55 takers.

TOP-PERFORMING INDIVIDUALS FROM THE REGIONS

Seventeen students, all ties considered, secured spots in the list of top performers in the June 2024 architects licensure exam. Harry Jae Osias, a Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta graduate; and Kathrina Paula Tapang, a Bulacan State University-Malolos product, both placed 7th after garnering a score of 82.

Joshua Garcia, another aspirant from the Bulacan State University-Malolos, ranked eight after scoring 81.70. He shares it with Arllan Feoj Santillan, a University of Mindanao-Davao City alumni, and a UST graduate, in a three-way tie.

University of San Carlos’ Clint Freidrich Josol placed solo ninth with a score of 81.60.

Louie Nathaniel Kiu, a DLS-CSB graduate, topscored the exam with an 83.80 rating.

The 62.14% national passing rate is almost a repeat of the 61.67% national performance in the January 2024 ALE.

The board exam took place on June 11 and 13, 2024, across testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
