Devotees of the Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia lit up the streets of Naga City, Camarines Sur with a candlelight during a procession as part of the Peñafrancia de Mayo 2024 celebrations.

The procession, which began at the Basilica Minore, featured the images of Our Lady of Peñafrancia and the El Divino Rostro, made its way to the city's main streets.

The event was followed by the "Harana ki Ina," a serenade dedicated to the Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

The Peñafrancia de Mayo celebration provides an opportunity for women to participate in the Peñafrancia festivities. It allows those who cannot join the September festivities, such as market vendors and workers, to take part in honoring the Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

It also serves as a preparation for the arrival of the image at the Naga City People’s Mall on May 23 to 24.
