A student was hit by a sport utility vehicle (SUV) while walking along the road in Banna, Ilocos Norte. The driver did not stop after the accident.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the SUV passing by and striking one of the two students.
The impact caused the victim to spin and fall.
Authorities identified the driver based on the footage.
The driver and the victim’s family are reportedly set to meet and discuss the incident.
