The Philippine Army and US Army launched Sabak 2025 officially, a joint military exercise combining Salaknib and Balikatan, at Fort Magsaysay in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

Military officials expressed gratitude for the collaboration. They said the training will enhance the capabilities of both forces.

The exercises aim to strengthen Philippine defense operations, sustainment activities for territorial defense, and improve mission command interoperability between the two armies.

Sanib 2025 will also focus on enhancing warfighting capabilities through combined training.

Around 3,000 soldiers from the United States Army Pacific Command and the North and Central Luzon Command of the Philippine Army are participating.

The training will run until July 20, 2025.
