Motorists can now use a newly reopened section of the Herrero-Perez Road, helping ease traffic congestion in Dagupan city.
Tricycles and private vehicles can now turn left from A.B. Fernandez Avenue onto Herrero-Perez, pass through Toledo Street, and exit at Perez Boulevard.
Public jeepneys headed downtown are also being rerouted through Herrero-Perez to reduce congestion.
Meanwhile, the road elevation project in Herrero-Perez is now complete, with only the curing period remaining before it is fully operational.
Once the curing process is done, the road will open for buses traveling the Dagupan City-San Fernando City route, which will provide a more direct alternative to Tebeng Road and Caranglaan District.
