Several roads in Davao City are set to be closed on January 13, 2025 for the national rally for peace organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
According to Councilor Tek Ocampo, the City Council on Tuesday approved the request of the INC to close Pedro Street, C.M. Recto, C Bangoy, Iñego, Pelayo, Bolton, and Rizal Street partially on January 11 and 12.
On the other hand, full closure will be implemented on the coastal road from Bago Aplaya to Tulip Drive, San Pedro Street, C.M. Recto, C Bangoy, Iñego, Pelayo, Bolton, Rizal, Ilustre, Bonifacio, and Palma Gil from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on January 13.
More than 500,000 members of the INC from Davao region, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Maguindanao provinces are expected to attend the activity.
