Motorists and residents in Sition Bingko, Barangay Buenlag in Calasiao, Pangasinan are enduring the daily challenge of navigating a rough and uneven road.

Despite having been cemented, the road is full of cracks and stones, causing inconvenience and even damage to vehicles.

According to residents, the road has been in poor condition for a long time, affecting their travel time and the condition of their vehicles.

"Nahihirapan... ‘yung mga rayos, ‘yung mga gulong-gulong, madalas kami nagpapalit ng rayos... napakahirap talaga rito," Bong Maynigo, a resident, said.

Sitio Bingko is prone to flooding, and the frequent passage of heavy trucks is believed to have worsened the road's condition.

'Nahihirapan kami kapag nagpapakiskis kami. Maganda sana kapag magawa," Dominador Untalan, a motorist, said.

Frustrated with the situation, residents are appealing for immediate action to repair the road.

"Matagal na ito... Sana po magawa na ito para naman makaginhawa na kaming mga parating dumadaan," Jun de Vera, another resident, said.

Barangay officials are aware of the issue and have taken steps to address the problem.

Barangay Buenlag Chairperson Edwin Paragas said they are waiting for materials to begin repairs.

"Nag-request na rin ako ng dalawang dump truck ng mix. Hinihintay ko lang ‘yung delivery para matabunan at maayos ‘yung konting sira ng daan," he said.

He assured residents that they aim to complete the repairs by the end of the year, filling the damaged parts with sand and soil to ease the burden on motorists and residents.
