Various rural-based groups in Calasiao, Pangasinan came together during the Farm Family Day, which is part of the weeklong celebration of the 2024 Puto Festival.
The gathering was meant to strengthen cooperation and community ties, as well as enhance collaboration and development through training and support for group members.
Participants included farmers’ associations, women’s groups, and other civic organizations.
“Ito ay under Department of Agriculture na nililinang natin yung kanilang kakayahan, yung kanilang camaraderie,” Gerald Quinit, event coordinator, said.
