A 41-year-old man who was supposed to collect payment for a debt was wounded after he was hacked by his debtor in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
Police said the victim went to the house of the suspect but the visit resulted in a heated argument and with the suspect hacking the victim.
The victim sustained hack wounds in the chest, shoulder, arms, and other parts of his body.
He was brought to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled after the incident, but he was arrested during hot pursuit.
The suspect is facing frustrated homicide charges.
