A construction worker found the lifeless body of a 69-year-old man lying on a private road in Barangay 2, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte early morning on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
The victim was identified as Domingo Ansagay from Barangay Caaocan, Laoag City.
The victim had a visible head wound.
Authorities have yet to determine the weapon used in the suspected killing.
Initial investigations reveal that Ansagay had been drinking with others the night before his body was found.
Police are awaiting the family’s decision on conducting an autopsy and continue to investigate the incident.
