A 43-year-old man drowned while fishing at the Bislak River in Vintar, Ilocos Norte.
Based on police investigation, the victim told his wife he was going fishing on Monday, October 21, 2024, but never returned home.
After a search and retrieval operation, his body was discovered submerged in the river on Tuesday, October 22, about 500 meters from the Bislak Bridge.
