A 12-hour power interruption is scheduled in the Province of Iloilo on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The power outage is set from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Consumers of the Iloilo Electric Cooperative (ILECO) II in the towns of Pototan, Dingle, Barotac Nuevo, New Lucena, Zarraga, Janiuay, Badiangan, Mina, Dueñas (in only a few barangays), and parts of a barangay in Lambunao will be affected by the scheduled power interruption.
The brownout is set to give way to a maintenance activity on a substation of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) in Dingle town.
Due to the said maintenance activity, loss of power supply will also be experienced from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Municipalities of Anilao, Banate, Barotac Viejo, and San Rafael on October 20, 2024.
