A 10-hour brownout is set in Iloilo City on Saturday, October 5, 2024, while a 13-hour power outage is set in Iloilo Province and a nine-hour brownout in Negros Occidental on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
According to electric power distributor, MORE Power, maintenance will be conducted in Iloilo City. The scheduled power interruption will affect consumers connected to La Paz Feeder 4, and portions of Diversion Feeder 3 and Molo Feeder 2.
The power outage in Iloilo City will be from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As for consumers of ILECO 1, they will experience power interruption on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. The brownout will affect the entire town of Cabatuan and Leganes, and portion of Santa Barbara, Maasin, and Pavia towns.
The brownout is due to maintenance activities to be conducted by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Negros Power has advised consumers of a nine-hour brownout also on Sunday, October 6, 2024 due to line upgrading.
The brownout will affect barangays in Murcia town, Province of Negros Occidental. The power interruption will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
