Residents of Currimao, Ilocos Norte, enjoyed an unexpected bounty as they collected around 600 kilos of fresh anchovies.
The scene turned festive as residents eagerly collected the live fish, which are popular for making raw fish salad, or kilawin.
Grateful to return to fishing after #GenerPH, the fishermen quickly sold the anchovies at 200 pesos per kilo.
