At least 15 center islands in Baguio City have been adopted by various organizations as part of the city's new 'Adopt a Park' program aimed at beautification and upkeep.

The program, launched to enhance the city's green spaces, gives organizations direct responsibility for maintaining the areas they adopt.

The local government encourages more groups to join, as well as calls on tourists and residents to keep Baguio clean and support the beautification efforts.

The city hopes this initiative will continue to improve the appearance of public spaces while promoting environmental responsibility.
