President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. attended the launch of the "Agripuhunan at Pantawid" program in Nueva Ecija, providing much-needed financial aid and farm machinery to over 11,000 farmers.

Each beneficiary will receive P8,000 per month for four months to support them during the off-season.

Farm machinery was also distributed to farming cooperatives to help boost agricultural productivity in the province.

Alongside these efforts, the President assured the farmers that irrigation systems would remain sufficient for their lands.

As part of the event, Marcos distributed 9,832 certificates of condonation and release of mortgage to 6,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries.

He also handed out P40 million worth of agri-credit checks, benefiting 45 individual agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and 12 ARB organizations under the Accessible Loans for Empowered Resilient and Transformed (ALERT) program.

Through the New Agrarian Emancipation Act (Republic Act 11953), the government aims to ease the financial burden of ARBs by waiving land tax debts and including them in the Department of Agriculture’s Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture.
