With classes still suspended at Mangued Elementary School due to flooding, the school administration distributed Nutri-Packs to ensure the students' nutrition needs are met.

Parents and guardians were called to the school to collect the packs, which contain milk, two Nutri buns, biscuits, and rice.

Lydia Saygo, a guardian, collected five Nutri-Packs for her grandchildren.

"May feeding silang nakukuha. Yun ang gustong-gusto nila. Nakakatulong sa kanilang mga bata," she said.

Some classrooms at the school are currently being used as an evacuation center due to the high flood levels in the area.

School principal Ma. Teresa Riñoza explained that once classes resume, evacuees will move to the gym.

"Nakikipag-coordinate kami sa barangay, kung puwede na sila sa gym. Kaya sila gumamit kasi di ba kaya ng gym na i-accommodate sila," she said.

Meanwhile, vehicles are struggling to pass through flooded streets in the city, including Barangay Tapuac and Old Devenecia Highway.
